Hygiene Manager - Food / Fmcg

VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a fantastic FMCG (Food) based company with the recruitment of a Hygiene Manager. Fantastic company to work in.

This will be based in the Company's site in Newry - Permanent Role

Responsibilities:

The Head of Hygiene is responsible for the hygiene standards across all three Newry sites. Manages people, processes and systems, in order to ensure hygiene standards are maintained to a high level and that relevant regulatory standards are met. You will work closely with the General Managers and departmental management teams at all sites.

This is achieved by:

- Designing and embedding hygiene Standard Operating Procedures across the specific business units

- Designing and delivery of training and development programs to support the hygiene teams across all sites

- Lead program of continuous improvement, ensuring all systems of work are in place to support each site's specific hygiene needs

- Designing and embedding optimum resourcing solutions across each site, to meet individual site needs, and overall business needs

- Ensure all schedules of work, and regulatory record keeping is accurate and maintained to a high standard

- Carry out internal audits of hygiene activities across all Newry sites, providing coaching to site teams on areas for improvement.

• Experience in similar role
• Experience of leading a team
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities
• Good planning, organisational and time management skills
