About the role
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Hygiene Operative is responsible for cleaning the factory and maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
Main duties
- Ensuring the safe use of chemicals.
- Using jet washers to carry out cleaning ready for production start-up.
- Comply fully with cleaning standards set by the department.
- Ensuring no residue when wiping down all equipment.
- Clean the factory to a high standard- adhering to company safety policies.
- Responsible for alerting the Production Manager to any issues that may impact upon the integrity of the clean.
- Responsible for ensuring that waste material is correctly disposed of.
- Participate in mandatory site training relating to health & safety, hygiene and environmental issues.
- Ensure all activities are carried out and signed-off in accordance with hygiene, quality and safety standards;
- Perform a variety of cleaning and hygiene tasks as detailed within the cleaning instruction procedures.
Working hours
- Monday 4:30pm – 7pm
- Tuesday 4:30pm – 7pm
- Wednesday 4:30pm – 7pm
- Thursday 4:30pm – 7pm
- Friday 4:30pm – 6pm
This role will be based in our growing HQ-Hub as we THRIVE here at Tangerine on In-person collaboration. We're introducing new features in our HQ-Hub like an In House Chef , to cook up the tastiest food options for all (Our favourite day is Fish & Chips Friday ) Break out spaces, Candidate Experience Lounges and Much More to come! Naturally you'll feel super comfortable here in-between the hours of 8am - 5pm.
