, Weekly hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week), , We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic ICT Service Desk& Project Manager to join our fantastic mission critical ICT team.  , , About the role , , The ICT Service Desk& Project Manager will have direct accountability for the effective management and ongoing improvement of the ICT Service Desk at Tŷ Hafan, and will act as lead Project Manager for systems and solutions implementation projects.   , , Leading the ICT Service Desk team (2 FTE), you will be responsible for delivering excellent onsite and remote support to users across the charity., , Working with the Head of ICT and Business Change, you will contribute to a wide-ranging digital transformation programme within Tŷ Hafan, whilst also leading the implementation of new systems and solutions that will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Charity's operations. , , The Service Desk functions between the hours of 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Out of hours coverage is also provided on a rotating schedule. Tŷ Hafan currently supports a hybrid working model, and the post holder is required to be on site a minimum of 3 days per week. , , About you , , This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has demonstrable industry experience, ideally managing a Service Desk, and with experience of leading, managing, motivating and developing others. , , The ideal candidate will have strong management, project management and communication skills and possess a good broad technical understanding of hardware, software, applications, networks, and communications technologies.  , , The ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends as required. , , The benefits of working for Tŷ Hafan include: , , , About Tŷ Hafan , , Tŷ Hafan is one of the UK’s leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers care, respite and dedicated support to children and young people with life-shortening conditions across Wales.
