Smart Education is currently recruiting for an ICT Teacher to join a school team. We welcome applications from individuals who may not hold formal teaching qualifications but have relevant experience teaching students, particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
About the Role:
As an ICT Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education services to the students in line with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Your primary focus will be on planning and delivering engaging and structured lessons that cater to the diverse needs of the pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and schemes of work.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the strengths and needs of individual students.
- Establish and maintain high expectations to inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils.
- Monitor and promote progress and positive outcomes for all students.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the subject matter and curriculum requirements.
Essential Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
About:
The school specialises in providing education to students with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. Located in the outskirts of Shifnal amidst picturesque surroundings, the dedicated staff deliver education in a therapeutic and trauma-informed manner.
Location:
The school is conveniently situated within commuting distance of Telford, Dudley, Stourbridge, Shrewsbury, Stone, Walsall, Wolverhampton, and surrounding areas.
Additional Information:
This position is available for an immediate start with the potential for a permanent role. The successful candidate must possess an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undergo the process, along with being able to provide 24 months' worth of references. Online checks will also be conducted.
