Overview:
Supply Desk are currently seeking an excellent ICT Teacher to join a Secondary School based in the Southampton area on a long-term contract starting ASAP with the possibility of a permanent contract before July 2024. The successful candidate will be teaching ICT to students in KS3 and KS4, working in a supportive department. The candidate must be highly skilled and enthusiastic teacher who can confidently deliver excellent ICT lessons and have the ability to build a strong rapport with colleagues and students. The School are seeking a permanent Head of ICT from September and will make this role permanent for the right person. This school are committed to supporting teachers as well as students with the aim of reaching every individual full potential. The department will consider an experienced ICT teacher and an ECT.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging ICT lessons that facilitate language acquisition and cultural appreciation.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of students.
- Assess students' language skills and progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and participate in extracurricular language activities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in ICT or related field (required)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience teaching ICT to Secondary School students
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
