Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our growing End User Compute team. You will work closely with the IAM Lead to ensure the secure and efficient access control of our hybrid on-premises and cloud environment, with a strong focus on Active Directory (AD), Azure Active Directory (AAD), and Sailpoint. You will be responsible for implementing and managing access controls, automating tasks, and supporting ongoing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage user accounts, groups, and Access permissions in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
- Configure and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions.
- Automate IAM tasks using scripting languages like PowerShell.
- Configure and manage user provisioning, access requests, and reviews using Sailpoint.
- Monitor and troubleshoot IAM-related issues and incidents.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of IAM governance policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest IAM trends and technologies.
- Work collaboratively with other IT teams and departments.
This role is available at either our SHirebrook HQ, Manchester Office, or Basingstoke Office, with a working pattern of 3 days on-site and 2 remote.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2-4 years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM).
- Working knowledge of Active Directory (AD) administration and security principles.
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory (AAD) concepts and basic configuration.
- Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell.
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Desire to learn and grow in the IAM field.
- Experience with Sailpoint a plus.
- Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) experience a plus.
