About The Role
We have an excellent opportunity for an Imaging Manager to join our AML team in London, working across our Alliance Medical Harley Street and Marylebone sites.
We are in the heart of the Harley Street medical district. Both of our Alliance Medical Harley Street and Marylebone branches rated GOOD by CQC is easily accessible via numerous tube and train stations. A very vibrant and fast paced environment, AML London has been accredited with the quality Standards in imaging. As well as the award-winning Alliance Medical being awarded with the prestigious investors in people gold award.
We have multi modalities including a digital PET CT, MRI 1.5, MRI 3T, X Ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT, EOS and MR Open. We are investing in both our people and equipment to ensure we deliver the best quality of imaging and service to the patients. We scan a large number of Cardiacs. We offer scans to the private medically insured patients, self-pay patients, NHS patients and research patients.
In this Role you will be responsible for setting up research trails alongside the clinical leads and managing any image transfer requests. Managing the clinical leads and some of the clinical team, where there is not a clinical lead in place. And at the same time, supporting the centre manager in setting up new services and growing existing services.

Skills And Experience
A Critical role for someone who wants to step into management with clinical knowledge. They will work closely with the Centre Manager and the other members of the SMT to grow Alliance Medical London. This individual will be responsible for managing the leads and supporting the teams across both Harley Street and Marylebone branches. They will need to have good knowledge in image transfer and the ability to problem solve.
It is essential that the individual has/is:
- Degree in Radiography
- HCPC registered
- Previous experience in managing people
- Strong understanding of CQC/IRMER/IRR and other legislation/regulations
- Demonstrated computer skills and CPM/RIS skills
- Strong clinical knowledge in diagnostic imaging
The individual should have:
- Good level of understanding in molecular imaging
- The ability to be organised
- Experience in managing rotas
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
