Diagnostic Imaging Sales Manager UK

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reports directly to the BU Managing Director
  • Ownership of Revenue/Margin Targets for the Sales team within the UK.
  • Responsible for the management and support of a team of Sales Specialists across the UK
  • Responsible for achieving all Sales targets, controlling costs and ensuring strong gross margins across a diverse Diagnostic Imaging portfolio
  • Within Territory travel is expected to support sales team with new business opportunities (up to 70%)
  • As part of the Senior Management Team, European travel will be required to support the growth of the Diagnostic Imaging Portfolio into new Geographies
  • Responsible for the implementation of the Diagnostic Imaging strategic plans and operational goals, as well as managing the day-to-day activities of the business.
  • Part of the Senior Diagnostic Imaging Management team helping with the execution & development of Group Divisional strategy and goals.
  • KPI driven with corporate account management
  • Strong, effective and clear communication skills
  • Ability to communicate to a wide and varied audience
  • Maintain and grow market share through sales, retention and acquisition of existing/new partners & customers
  • Pipeline generation and management
  • Key Performance Indicators across all Divisions and clear reporting on these to the Senior Management Team
  • Develop appropriate pricing models complimenting market movement and consumer trends to ensure new business
  • New business targeting and engagement to ensure the generation of a consistent revenue stream
  • Ownership of the tender strategy and driving this through to completion
  • Ensuring strong and consistent account management processes
  • Engage and influence Senior stakeholders on the commercial strategy and gain their ‘buy in’ when proposing credible business cases
  • Lead and guide sales team with scalable results for the business
  • Strong presentation skills and highly capable with presenting software for content creating (PowerPoint, Prezi, etc)
  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Excellent planning and organisations skills, demonstrating the connection between planning and performance
  • Strong track record in delivering sales and profit targets
  • Experience in developing relationships with clients and partner management a major plus
  • Accountability for good corporate governance practices across all the Sales Divisions
  • Representing the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events
  • Maximising new business development opportunities
