Overview:
An infamous global technology business based in West London, known for innovation and excellence are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join them initially on an interim basis.
Position Overview:
As a Payroll Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our Payroll team, responsible for accurately processing payroll for our employees across various locations. You will ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies while providing exceptional service to our employees. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your expertise in payroll administration and contribute to the success of our organization.
Location: West London, United Kingdom
Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end payroll for employees using our payroll software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Handle payroll queries from employees, HR, and external parties promptly and professionally.
- Calculate and process statutory deductions, including taxes, NI contributions, and pension contributions.
- Coordinate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes, is reflected in payroll.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll-related reports and analyses as required.
- Stay updated on relevant legislation and compliance requirements related to payroll processing.
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements to streamline payroll operations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
About you:
- Workday experience would be highly regarded, but is by no means essential
- Available on short notice
- Solid, hands on Payroll Processing experience
- Strong communication skills and Excel Skills
