This opportunity is for a leading and renowned organisation within the UK, who are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their business working on a hybrid basis out of the Heathrow office.
The role will be working within the payroll function supporting 50,000 members and you will work closely with the deffered pensions team. The day to day responsibilities of this role will be the following;
- Maintaining member and scheme records
- Processing joiners to the payroll
- Processing suspensions, reinstatements, leavers and death payments
- Setting up new beneficiaries and continuing benefits
- Performing adjustments to pensions in payment
- Opportunities to get involved in a wide variety of projects and initiatives including process engineering, interpreting legislation and implementing complex technical matters.
The ideal candidate would be someone with the following skills and experience:
- Previous payroll experience is essential
- Desirable to have exposure to pension duties
