Introducing an exciting opportunity in Freight Forwarding, focusing on international freight importing and exporting. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in established Freight companies. Our ideal candidate, currently looking for a new role in Import or Export, brings proficiency in CargoWise, Sequoia, and Microsoft Access, showcasing a commitment to staying abreast of industry technologies.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: Importing and Exporting International Freight
CargoWise Certification (Preferable) : Proficient in the use of CargoWise, Sequoia, and Microsoft Access programs, including Word, Access, and Excel.
A-Z Journey: Comprehensive understanding and execution of the Import and Export processes from start to finish.
Freight Knowledge: Specialised expertise in Air Exports with knowledge of handling LCL and FCL shipments.
Management Skills: Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, managing warehouse operations, and overseeing staff in both Import and Export capacities.
Certifications: Previous certifications in FLT reach (4t) and counterbalance (15t), Handling Dangerous Goods, Manual Handling, BIFA certified exports for beginners, and UK National Air Cargo Security Training (COS).
Availability: Immediate availability to contribute expertise and skills to a new role.
Responsibilities:
Execute end-to-end Import and Export processes, managing A-Z journey for both.
Utilise expertise in CargoWise, Sequoia, and Microsoft Access programs for efficient operations.
Oversee and coordinate Air, Road, and Sea shipments, specialising in LCL and FCL.
Handle account management responsibilities, ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth logistics operations.
Utilise AOG (Aircraft on Ground) experience to efficiently manage time-sensitive shipments.
