Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Support and manage the UK tax compliance process in conjunction with local finance teams and external advisor
- Support with UK GAAP tax reporting for both consolidated and statutory filings
- Assist with the calculation and management of quarterly installment payments
- Assist the senior leadership team with the appraisal of key tax developments
- Assist the Group in preparation for key legislative changes
- Assist with the maintenance of key tax governance requirements, such as SAO, CCO and Tax Risk Registers
- Support the tax function with the implementation of key tax policies
- Support with R&D Tax Credit submission
- Support the payroll and HR teams regarding employment tax issues
- Support with VAT queries from businesses within the Group
- Assist the M&A team with tax due diligence exercises
- Assist with the management of the Group transfer pricing policy
- Assist with the implementation of CbCR and BEPS Pillar II
Profile
The successful candidate will have/be:
- ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent qualified with strong corporate tax and accounting knowledge
- Top 10 practice experience (or potentially already in an in house role)
- Detailed understanding of key corporate tax legislation and requirements
- A good understanding of international, indirect and employment taxes would be beneficial but not required
