Job Description
- Manage tax compliance and reporting processes
- Conduct tax audits and investigations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Advise on tax implications of business decisions
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants
- Assist in the development of tax strategies
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax returns
- Identify potential tax risks and develop mitigation strategies
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Tax Manager should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CPA, etc) is mandatory
- Proven experience in tax (minimum 5 years)
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
