SalaryOur client is currently seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join their Inbound Customer Services team.
Working from offices in the centre of Brighton the team are the first point of contact for customers looking to start a travel insurance claim following a medical emergency or other interruption to their travel. Candidates will be listening to and capturing details from the customer, answer questions and when needed create a case file for the insurance firm to work from. In some cases you will simply be updating customers on the progress of their claim, or even explaining their policy does not cover them for specific events.
Customers can be emotional, even distressed in some instances. Therefore, candidates need to be empathetic with excellent listening skills. Full training is also provided for this role and candidates are paid for the training.
The office is open Monday to Saturday 8am to 8pm. Candidates would be required to work 35 hours a week (5 days a week) and this includes occasional Saturday work with a day-off in the week in lieu.
A salary of £10.90 per hour is provided.
