Income Officer

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in the North West, who are recruiting for a fully remote Income Officer on a temporary three-month contract that has potential to go permanent. The position is due to start immediately, on a full-time basis. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable dependant on experience in the Housing Management field.

The ideal candidate will have a DBS certificate, or be happy to have one carried out, drive and have access to their own vehicle, and have proven experience of Housing Management duties.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Chasing former tenant arrears

• Sending out escalation letters to former tenants and processing serious cases for court

• Carrying out payment plans with tenants

• Assisting customers to pay by direct debit and claim universal credit and working with tenants to set up appropriate bank accounts

• Working with vulnerable adults with varying disabilities

• Providing advice and support to tenants over the phone surrounding Universal Credit

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experienced in Housing Management

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
