Job description

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Independent Advocate to join our vibrant team in Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas.

As an Independent Advocate, you will provide crucial support to vulnerable adults facing significant health and social care challenges. You'll deliver persuasive verbal and written representations on their behalf, collaborate with public and voluntary organisations, and take directed actions to address clients' issues. This role demands a flexible attitude, excellent communication, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidently. Additionally, we provide a full induction and training schedule along providing you with a IAP (Independent Advocacy Qualification) .

Hours of Work: Part-time: 14 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00am- 17:00pm (If you are interested in a full time position please review our other posts available that in total make up to a full time position under two part time roles.)

Location: Home based with travel across Buckinghamshire and the surrounding area. (Applicants must live within the area; have a full driver's licence and access to their own transport )

Contract type: Permanent

Independent Advocate Requirements:

* Previous experience in advocacy, information and advice, or a similar role, ideally within health, social care, or the voluntary sector is desirable.
* Demonstrable experience working with vulnerable adults.
* Working knowledge of public and voluntary organisations
* Strong communication and time management skills.
* Proficiency in computer literacy.
* A full driver's licence and access to your own transport.

Independent Advocate Benefits:

* Competitive salary of �23,088.00 - �23,292.00 per annum (dependent on experience).
