Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, food preparation, and leading a team of culinary professionals. Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of the kitchen, including food production, menu planning, and inventory management
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, following food safety guidelines
- Collaborate with the team to develop new menu items and specials
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and procedures
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
- Oversee ordering and receiving of ingredients and supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Chef or in a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
