Health And Safety Advisor

​We are currently working in partnership with a Nation-Wide Housing provider, who are recruiting for a home-based Health and Safety Officer.

​

This role is home based however you will be required to go to site five times per month with all site visits highlighted a month in advance. While visiting sites, all travel expenses and overnight stays will be covered by the organisation.

​

This is a permanent position with a salary of £35,000 per annum with a car allowance of £3715

​

This role is ideal for someone who has 1-2 years of Health and Safety experience and is now looking for the next step in their career. The client has highlighted there is a clear progression pathway and that this role is an ideal place to start.

​

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Providing support and advice to management teams within a Housing Association setting, based on Health and Safety

• Auditing existing Health and Safety policies and team performance

• Playing an active role in reporting incidents and managing the accident and investigation process

• Delivering Health and Safety training and inductions to staff and trade operatives

• Carrying out HSE assessments

Requirements

• A minimum of NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety

• Excellent communication skills

• Proficient in Word, Excel and Power point

• Full driving licence

• TECHIOSH

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week – Ability to be made up flexibly
