Job Title: HSQE Manager

Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain the HSQE standards and policies in line with industry practises and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and review existing safety procedures, identifying areas for improvement and proposing effective solutions.
Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure the effective implementation of mitigating measures across all aspects of the business.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with all HSQE standards and requirements.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), collect relevant data, and produce comprehensive reports on HSQE performance.
Provide expert advice and training to employees at all levels, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.
Stay up to date with industry best practises and emerging trends, bringing innovative ideas to enhance HSQE systems and practises.
Foster strong relationships with regulatory bodies, participating in audits and ensuring full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree, Nebosh Diploma or equivalent in a relevant field.
Proven experience in managing health, safety, quality, and environmental practises in the construction or renewable energy sector.
Site experience working on similar construction projects, supporting strategy, reviewing and implementing procedures, carrying out assurance activity and risk assessments.
Experience of carrying out safety investigations, improving behavioural safety and supply chain management. Understanding of CDM roles and responsibilities
In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and best practises.
A positive and proactive attitude, with a passion for creating a safe and sustainable working environment.
Willingness to travel to sites regularly.
