Duties
– Oversee and manage the daily operations of the kitchen
– Plan and develop menus in collaboration with the management team
– Ensure food quality and presentation meets high standards
– Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking techniques
– Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
– Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
– Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Experience
– Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
– Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and culinary techniques
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Skills:
– Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
– Kitchen: Proficient in all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and equipment usage
– Food Safety: Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices to ensure safe handling and storage of ingredients
– Help: Willingness to assist team members as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment
– Food Production: Experience in planning, preparing, and executing large-scale food production for events or busy establishments
– Team Management: Ability to effectively manage a team, delegate tasks, and ensure smooth workflow in the kitchen
– Food Preparation: Skilled in preparing a variety of dishes using different cooking methods while maintaining high quality standards
– Supervising: Experience in supervising kitchen staff, providing guidance, feedback, and training as necessary
– Culinary: Strong understanding of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, ingredient combinations, and menu development
– Cook: Proficient in cooking various cuisines with expertise in creating flavorful dishes
