Job Summary:

As a South Indian Tandoori chef, your role is to masterfully craft the rich, aromatic, and flavorful curries that are characteristic of South Indian cuisine. Here's what your responsibilities typically include:

• Recipe Development: Develop and refine recipes for a variety of South Indian curries, considering traditional techniques, regional variations, and seasonal ingredients.
• Ingredient Selection: Source high-quality ingredients and spices, ensuring authenticity and freshness to achieve the desired flavor profiles in your curries.
• Flavor Balancing: Master the art of balancing flavors, including sweetness, sourness, spiciness, and richness, to create harmonious and well-rounded curry dishes.
• Presentation: Pay attention to the presentation of your curries, considering factors such as color, texture, and garnishes to enhance visual appeal and entice diners.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality and consistency in your curry preparations, conducting taste tests and adjustments as needed to ensure that every dish meets the restaurant's standards.
• Kitchen Management: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate timing and ensure smooth workflow during service hours. Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to maintain efficiency and minimize waste.
