Job title: Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Quality Improvement Manager
Salary: £37,000 to £39,000 per annum
Based at: Nottingham with limited agile working. Additional travel required between delivery locations
Contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2025, full-time (35 hours per week)
1. WHY THE POST EXISTS

As the IPS Quality Improvement Manager within the Employment Services department you will take a leading role in ensuring compliance and continual improvement is achieved for our employment support programmes, in line with the IPS fidelity scale, that aim to help people with a health condition or disability, the long-term unemployed and other specified disadvantaged groups (Early Access Groups) find, enter and sustain paid employment.
You will be a learning and development-focused, confident, technology savvy and self-motivated manager with a background in Quality Improvement in order to achieve great customer service.
2. THE KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Lead the Employment Services department’s adherence of the fidelity scale principles to achieve the IPS Grow quality mark.
- Identify then deliver the relevant learning and development including ongoing mentoring, on the job activity and formal training.
- Prepare the department to achieve then maintain the IPS Grow quality mark.
- Work alongside Service Managers to deliver an excellent customer experience which is reflective of individual needs and preferences.
- Take responsibility for ensuring the achievement of the Minimum Service Level Standards.
- Maintain the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and Self-Assessment Report (SAR).
- Support the operational leads in delivering the contracted performance profile, quality targets, and guidelines in accordance with the programme.
- Able and willing to travel across Nottinghamshire, and occasionally Derbyshire.
3. APPLICANTS WILL POSSESS
- Knowledge and understanding of the IPS Grow model and fidelity scale.
- Experience with successfully training and developing people.
- An Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification.
- A can-do, upbeat and energetic attitude.
- Be self-motivated and looking for a unique challenge.
- Is confident speaking to people by phone, video call and in person.
- Able to show compassion and build rapport with people.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment working toward challenging targets.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Experience operating as a line manager and/or project manager.
- Passionate about helping people to achieve their potential.
- Be dependable, reliable, trustworthy and capable of exercising diplomacy.
- Experience of working within a welfare-to-work or IPS programme leading quality and improvement, or a similar relevant role.
