Industrial Electrician - Water Sector
Our client is seeking Electricians to join various business units within their organization, including UK Contracting, Water Technologies, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M). This role is a full-time, permanent basis where you will collaborating with an established team to support the successful execution of projects within the water industry across the UK.

Key responsibilities include:

• Safely installing cable containment systems to a high standard
• Installing, gland, and terminating cable systems primarily utilized in the industrial sector to BS 7671 standards and supplied drawings
• Installing electrical equipment to BS 7671 standards and manufacturer’s instructions
• Testing electrical systems and circuit continuity in wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices to ensure system compatibility and safety
• Identifying and diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate and rectify breakdown causes
• Working at heights to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures while adhering to safety protocols and using appropriate safety equipment
• Inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustments or repairs, ensuring compliance with codes
• Providing management with advice on the potential hazards associated with continued equipment operation
• Planning the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and standards

Requirements:

• Fully qualified electrician with expertise in installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of electrical equipment and components
• Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and regulations
• Fully qualified to the 18th Edition
• Experience in the Water industry would be advantageous, although experience in other sectors such as heavy industry will also be considered
• EUSR Ticket
• Full UK Driving License
