Key Responsibilities
18.5 hours per week
1. To liaise with the school leader and all course tutors in order to identify work placement requirements.
2. To keep accurate records of all work placement activity and to ensure that the school’s placement database is continually updated and available for staff access.
3. To allocate placements in line with the relevant awarding body guidelines.
4. To develop and sustain a close working relationship with the college’s work Placement Officer and all placement providers.
5. To develop and maintain a varied and suitable supply of placement providers.
6. Carry out one to one and group support during student’s placement.
7. Update EBS On-track with placement destinations and any concerns/compliments
8. Carry out risk assessments at new placements to ensure the safety of students attending them.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
• To carry out all duties in accordance with the College’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• To carry out any other duties as directed by your Line Manager.
