Lonsite are looking for an Industrial Relations Manager to join our client on a prestigious project in North London on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate would have extensive knowledge of NAECI/the blue book agreement and working alongside Trade Unions, in addition to exceptional negotiation skills.
Main responsibilities:
Responsibility to own and understand the details of the NAECI agreement for appropriate application, communication to all key stakeholders
Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with trade unions & ensuring that the Company's treatment of employees is consistent with its core business values and objectives
Endeavour to build a one team approach with the trade union representatives and staff, focusing on proactive communication and involvement to build a positive relationship and monitor relationship triggers / hot topics and proactively place solutions to ensure operational continuity and positive relations
Develop and use appropriate interventions, working closely with the HR Manager and Collaboration Working Partner to involve and work with Subcontractors
Work with the HR Manager in Handling complaints, managing grievance procedures and facilitating counselling in conjunction with other stakeholders.
Investigating and resolving complex or critical Industrial Relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
Support the Procurement team to ensure alignment of Subcontractors to the IR strategy whilst reviewing competency and right to work.
Organise and manage Project Joint Council meetings whilst maintaining close relations with the ECIA and NJC
Manage and co-ordinate SPA throughout the Project Lifecycle
Support the Management of Site Access Control systems working closely with the Facilities Manager
