Salford City council have exciting opportunities for Information Officers to work as part of the Starting Life Well Service, supporting the Family Information Team.
The role will be working as part of the wider Starting Life Well team, we are looking to appoint a colleague who is an approachable, friendly, and supportive individual with the ability to work on their own initiative.
- Provide information, advice and guidance to parents, carers and providers with regards to the Family Information Service
- Establish and maintain links with services (childcare & community) providers to ensure that data is updated in accordance with statutory duties.
- Support the team with the maintenance of the management information system, ensuring quality is maintained and timescales are met.
- Develop, implement, and maintain high quality information and self-help sections for parents, carers, and childcare providers on the appropriate digital platforms (webpages, directory & social media)
- Work closely with corporate and other partners in sharing information to ensure that appropriate information on services is available on the corporate service directory, childcare search site, and intranet.
