Information Security Consultant

An international business based in Bath is searching for an articulate Information Security Consultant to join the team on a 12-month fixed term contract. The business embraces flexibility so you are able to work from home with occasional visits to the office.

In this business-critical role, you will partner with AWS and leading global financial institutions to ensure that a data migration project is completed securely and to the highest industry standards. You will ensure all systems are secure and robust and manage the delivery of a modern cloud-based platform for exchanging operational risk data. Supporting the Head of Security, you will ensure alignment with infosec policy as well as building and enhancing stakeholder relationships. You will support assurance and customer onboarding as well as providing subject matter Information Security expertise to facilitate improvement programmes and risk management.                

In order to be suitable for this position you will have solid awareness of infosec security, risk and control frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST. You will hold experience of securing application in a public cloud environment as well as knowledge of the latest trends in Information Security and risk management. Excellent relationship management and communication skills will be a pre-requisite for this position. Professional security qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA will be highly advantageous to your application.
