Senior Information Security Consultant

I am hiring a Senior Information Security Consultant on behalf of a premier global consulting firm specialising in cybersecurity, digital transformation, and operational resilience. Operating internationally they collaborate with organizations to tackle complex security challenges and enhance cyber defenses. By combining deep cybersecurity expertise with innovative strategies, they empower clients to safeguard their assets, ensuring robust protection and sustainable growth in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
In this role you will be responsible for:

• Oversee the implementation of Information Security measures in governance, information risk management, and compliance for customer projects.
• Provide guidance to customers on designing and executing Information Security requirements, ensuring the secure alignment of their business and IT strategies.
• Facilitate the continuous integration of evolving legal and regulatory requirements into the customer`s ongoing business operations.
• Offer support and advice to various project teams regarding organizational aspects of Information Security.
• Plan and deploy comprehensive IT security architectures.

This role is remote from anywhere in Germany with occasional travel to client site
Essential:

• 4+ years Information Security consulting experience
• Experience with ISO 27001 and BSI IT-Grundshutz
• ISMS experience
• Sales and/or leadership experience
• Fluency in English
• C1 German minimum
• EU Citizen
• Great communication skills

Desirable

• Relevant degree and/or certifications e.g. CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA
• Certifications in ISO 27001 and/or BSI IT-Grundschutz
