Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced Information Security Engineer to join our client who are growing their Information Security team. In this role, you will be designing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure to protect our client against cyber-attacks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate potential risks, respond to security incidents, and continuously enhance our clients security posture.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security architectures for systems, networks, and applications.
- Deploy and configure security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and investigate potential weaknesses.
- Lead the response to security incidents, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans, ensuring the organization is well-prepared for potential security breaches.
- Develop and update Information Security policies and procedures in line with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
- Ensure compliance is being met with regulations and standards such as ISO27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Experience in an Information Security Engineering role or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices such as ISO27001, NIST, CIS, and similar.
- Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and systems architecture.
- Ability to advise senior stakeholders and translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
