Information Services Officer - FTC (12 months)

We're hiring a part-time (Monday-Thursday) Information Services Officer (FTC - 12 months) to contribute to our accurate and efficient legal and business information service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling enquiries, delivering legal and business research to fee earners and staff.
- Contributing to a current awareness service by monitoring newspapers, legal journals, and websites.
- Cataloguing and maintaining collections.
- Assisting in training users on electronic research sources.
- Managing administrative tasks like loose-leafing.
- Providing support for Information Services and firm-wide projects.
Skills / Experience Required:
Essential:
- Minimum two years' experience in a legal library role.
- Degree or post-graduate qualification in Information and Library Management or Information Science.
- Detailed knowledge of LexisLibrary, Practicallaw, Lawtel, and Westlaw.
- Willingness to travel to other offices as required.
Desirable:
- Experience in a professional services environment, ideally a City or large firm.
- Experience with Manzama or other news aggregators.
