Information Systems Developer - (Full Time, Full Year)
Working 37 hours per week Monday to Thursday between the hours of 8.30 am and 4.30 pm and Friday between the hours of 8.30 am and 4 pm for the full year, a degree of flexibility is required.
You will provide development support for core College data systems including:
Working closely with the Head of Management Information and Data systems you will be crucial as the college MIS technical expert in supporting the wide range of business process improvements within the college.
Leveraging your proficiency with T-SQL, you will be at the forefront of designing integration solutions that connect diverse systems seamlessly. Your work will ensure that data and functionality flow seamlessly across our college ecosystem.
As a specialist, you will develop a comprehensive collection of tailored reports and dashboards that offer valuable insights to guide informed decision-making and will be instrumental in driving strategic interventions.
What we are looking for in this role:
Sound Database Knowledge and SQL Server Reporting Services experience.
Strong experience with T-SQL and the development of database objects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office for data manipulation and presentation and has some knowledge of PowerBi.
Knowledge and understanding of report writing using SSRS and MS Report Builder.
Effective prioritisation and deadline management skills.
The ability to work under pressure and be flexible.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in particular the ability to communicate complex information to others.
A commitment to the provision of excellent information services for students and staff.
Highly effective decision-making skills with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay Spine point 32, £31,219 rising to point 35, £34,391, with annual increments based on service and performance related criteria
