A global managed service provider is looking for a skilled IT Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale IT infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and deployment. They will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure that project objectives are met on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of a large IT infrastructure project for [Airport Group].
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing issues as they arise.
- Manage project resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (10+ years) as an IT Project Manager, preferably in the aviation or transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, including networking, servers, storage, and virtualization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex projects from initiation to completion.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
- Experience working in a regulated environment is desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
Eligibility for Security Clearance is Essential
£500pd outside IR35
