We are now recruiting for a new IT Project Manager to join our alliance of people, brands and partners working together, as one team, to achieve more for patients, healthcare providers, business partners and investors.


As our new IT Project Manager, you will work with the IT Projects and Planning Manager and the Alliance Business and IT Stakeholders to scope, define, plan and manage head office & groupwide IT related projects to support organisational strategies and objectives. You will be working with the Alliance Business, Suppliers and IT to select solutions and support technical governance to ensure that the most effective, efficient, secure and technically compatible with Business and IT Standards and Policies.


Salary range: £45,000 - £55,000


Key Role Criteria:

  • You will have a bachelor’s degree / Higher National Diploma and a Project Management certification (PMP/Prince2) or equivalent and at least 10 years’ experience in Project Management


Key Responsibilities:

  • The management of multiple IT related projects, ensuring they are run to time, cost, quality and project management standards anddelivered across multiple departments and territories.
  • You will perform IT project activities including, but not limited to working with business to clarify business cases & requirements, solution design, Supplier engagement, Technical Governance oversight, Setup, Migration and User Acceptance oversight, change management, transition to Live and post-implementation support.
  • You will work with business stakeholders and external suppliers to develop business needs & problems into projects and provide input and support to create a Business Case and compliance with business project governance.
  • You will manage the selection, technical governance and deployment of multiple SaaS applications and collaboration tools e.g. MS Teams and SharePoint.
  • You will manage Project budget and the management of project spend.
  • You will coordinate the process of gathering or assessing, analysing and documenting requirements from both internal customers and external parties.
  • You will create detailed project plans including the scheduling, setting of goals, setting the timelines and ensuring risks or issues are mitigated.
  • You will be responsible for the regular communication with project team / stakeholder(s) to review project progress, ensuring tasks are owned and completed, project status reports are communicated as agreed with stakeholders.
  • You will manage customer’s expectations and provide guidance as required to successfully complete Solution Configuration, Business Process Change, Migration and User Acceptance Testing.
  • You will develop and champion available collaboration and technical tools and PMO processes and look for opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency across IT and rest of Business.
  • You will support the Project Management Office (PMO) to define and improve the project lifecycle process, design and implement templates and processes and help to embed governance.
