AddressUse your skills as an IT Project Manager to help this global London market insurer, develop its digital journey. As things stand, they have a little footprint in the cloud/ latest technologies and are now looking to develop a number of their key applications.
Currently, they are early in their journey but you will need to pick up one or more mid-range projects to assist with the programme. This role will be pivotal in overseeing, shaping and executing projects whilst consistently delivering strong reporting and governance. You will need to manage multiple stakeholders including business owners of applications to enable a successful delivery.
Experience required:
- Must have experience on a mixture of infrastructure, application migration and IT service transition-type IT work packages
- Financial services/ London Market insurance experience is essential
- Strong stakeholder management experience- worked with C-level executives
- Ability to shape and scope projects in a proactive nature
- Manage multiple projects concurrently
This role is both interesting and challenging. The challenge, like with any project, will be the different stakeholders involved with the programme. The business is undergoing a lot of transformation at the moment, so getting people's time and availability will be a challenge. You will need to have the ability to work in the grey and bring control to the chaos whilst ultimately being flexible and adaptable in your approach and delivery.
