Job Title: Technical IT Project Manager (Outside IR35 - 6-Month Contract)
Location: Remote within the UK, with required presence in London 1/2 times a month

We are a NPO dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Technical IT Project Manager to join us on a 6-month contract basis. This role offers the flexibility of remote work within the UK, with occasional visits to our London office.
Role Overview:
As a Technical IT Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the successful delivery of our technical projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management activities, from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Utilize both Prince II and Agile methodologies to effectively plan, execute, and monitor project progress.
- Line manage developers within the project team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their success and productivity.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to gather project requirements, define scope, and prioritize tasks.
- Maintain clear and concise communication channels, providing regular updates, status reports, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a strong technical understanding, particularly in areas relevant to our projects, such as C# and Azure.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing appropriate solutions to keep projects on track.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving efficiency gains and implementing best practices in project management processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical IT Project Manager, preferably in a remote working environment.
- Certification in both Prince II and Agile methodologies.
- Prior experience line managing developers, with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.
- Strong technical understanding, with familiarity in technologies such as C# and Azure.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Flexibility to travel to our London office 1/2 times a month as required.
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience working with remote teams and distributed stakeholders.
- Familiarity with other programming languages and cloud platforms.
- Additional project management certifications or training.
