We are working with a leading communications company dedicated innovation, integrity, and excellence in delivering cutting-edge solutions to their clients. The team is expanding and on the hunt for a new Infrastructure Engineer.
Job Overview:
As an Infrastructure Engineer with a specialization in networking, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support our evolving technology needs and contribute to the development of scalable and efficient Infrastructure & networking solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Implement and optimize network configurations to support business requirements and enhance performance.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network solutions with existing systems and applications, WI-Fi & LAN.
• Conduct regular security assessments and implement appropriate measures to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Evaluate emerging networking technologies and recommend solutions to improve infrastructure efficiency and effectiveness.

Experience & knowledge:

• years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure & Basic cloud Tech withing M365 – (AD, AZURE)
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols and network security principles.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools
• Strong working knowledge of Storage & back up tech
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, IS027001 or equivalent are highly desirable.
