Description
- Maintain all elements of IT Infrastructure, supporting and optimising key functional areas, particularly server infrastructure and all local onsite infrastructure.
- Monitor IT service performance, availability and capacity
- Ensure data centre capacity is measured and provide regular capacity reports and appropriate availability
- Test and document disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Apply technical support concepts to deliver the highest standard of technical support
- Support the review of system architecture and recommend improvements in line with Service Delivery
- Provide day to day consultation, training, instruction, troubleshooting and problem solving to the IT Department and group business units for hardware, software, network and related computer systems and peripheral devices.
Profile
- Ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of all business plans and relate that knowledge to identify operational and IT related initiatives.
- Knowledge necessary to propose relevant IT responses to changing business and project risks.
- Proven experience with Infrastructure design and support
- Linux and Windows administration and support skills
- Experience of Enterprise anti-virus and Cloud technologies
