Infrastructure Engineer Hull onsite- (36-40K)

My client who are in the education sector are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer to join their team providing IT Support and Network support to the school. They are looking for someone highly motivated and enthusiastic. This is a fully onsite role so the candidate will need to be commutable distance away from their site in Hull.

The principal duty of the role is to manage the day to day administration and performance of the server and network infrastructure. You will be provide remote incident support to our customers and provide technical support both over the phone and via email.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot network and server issues promptly
• Maintain backups of all systems
• Managing infrastructure and windows servers
• Configuring and managing firewalls
• Ensure that the network equipment is secure

Technical Skills:

• Experienced with producing and implementing complex configurations
• Competent LAN/WLAN infrastructure deployment and support
• Capable of creating high and low-level design documentation
• Adept in troubleshooting and configuration of security software
• Experienced in network authentication such as Radius
• Experience with Extreme Network/Wifi Management
• Hyper-V and VMWare
• Worked with Fortinet appliances
• Microsoft Server Technologies
• Experience in Backup Technologies - Veeam/Rubrik
