Description of Business Line
Exciting opportunity to join a small team and make a real impact within the global infrastructure and energy markets where you will have the chance to work with and learn from market leaders.
The role will be to assist with, and in time lead, the origination and execution of private debt placements used to finance (or refinance) projects in Energy Transition, Digital, Transportation, Renewable Energy, Power and Social Infrastructure sectors among others.
You will interact with a wide range of internal teams including Corporate Advisory, M&A, DCM, Project Finance, Sales, Syndications as well as with external Institutional Investors keen to support financing of projects in the broad Infrastructure / Energy arena.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking to appoint an Analyst within the team who will support the senior staff in all aspects
of deal origination, execution and marketing. Specifically:
• Preparation of Marketing Materials for client presentations
• Market analysis and reviews
• Maintenance of the transaction database
• Preparation of analytical support and use of models
• Research and preparation of comparable deal case studies
• Use of external analytical and market information systems such as Bloomberg and relevant news providers
Working within a small team you will have direct access to senior stakeholders internally and the
opportunity to add value by providing your own ideas / thoughts / market insight from day 1, while
in time developing client relationships and taking more of a lead on presentations.
Profile required
Experience / Competencies Required
• Understanding of Infrastructure / Energy markets, ideally from a credit assessment perspective
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Experience in Credit Analysis and rating
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong IT skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc.)
• Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
o Additional language skills are a bonus (French, Spanish, German, Italian) would be of most benefit but not essential
