Structured Solutions & Mobility Finance ("SSM") is seeking a Structured Finance Originator to develop, originate, and execute structured banking products for clients or for SG itself. SSM seeks to use financial innovation to facilitate positive transformations and accompany its clients on their journey towards a fairer, responsible, and sustainable future.
The nature of the transactions executed by SSM is varied but typically addresses a specific requirement of the client or SG, including:
Asset-backed financing, including:
Tax-based lending
Non tax-based lending
Asset based financing
Acquisition of leasing companies and leasing assets
Financing or Hedging transactions that provide an attractive financing cost and/or regulatory / capital efficiency
Balance sheet-friendly financing solutions (hybrid capital funding or service contract financing)
Structuring M&A to increase efficiency on pre or post tax basis
Optimising return on investments or risk profile
Implementing efficient tools to manage cash positions
Transactions to enhance regulatory efficiencies
In addition to the transversal role as a financial engineering team across asset classes the team has sectorial responsibility to provide clients with advisory and financing solutions in relation to land transportation assets and mobility services worldwide.
Summary of Key Purposes of the Role:
The Structured Finance Originator will contribute to sustaining and expanding the SSM franchise through the development and origination of transactions for clients and, where relevant, SG's own position.
They will ensure compliance with the SSM governance process, including in relation to transaction execution, and represent SSM in internal dialogues to promote the SSM franchise.
Summary of Responsibilities:
This is a VP level role and as such we are looking for someone with strong Financial Analysis / Modelling skills allied to experience working on a range of Leverage / Asset Based Finance deals.
Origination of deals by working closely with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions.
Lead to execution of deals, liaising with internal departments and third parties, in line with client requirements and Banks procedures / risk limits.

Competencies:
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong knowledge and experience of Structured Finance transactions, including in a cross-border context.
Expertise and knowledge to be able to appropriately originate Structured Finance transactions across a range of client sectors and for SG's own position where appropriate.
Ensure appropriate execution of all aspects of Structured Finance transactions, including legal documentation, risk and financial modeling.
Appropriate knowledge and understanding to assess and manage risks in accordance with the governance process for SSM, GLBA, and the SG Group.
