Due to growth, our client based in St Ives is seeking an experienced Infrastructure specialist to join their team. You will act as technical lead for clients and your role will involve designing technical solutions, delivering client projects and fulfilling service requests.

Duties to Include:
- Provide prompt, accurate and consistent communication to colleagues and clients.
- Learn and understand every intricate detail of a client or collection of clients’ systems and infrastructures and update and maintain client documentation.
- Document and assess current systems and infrastructure.
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve technical incidents, escalating to the team for collaboration as appropriate.
- Guide and support 1st, 2nd and 3rd Line service desk Analysts as well as Field Service Technicians- mentor and coach to enhance skills and abilities.
- Liaise with 3rd party support for ticket resolution as appropriate.
- Work with the sales team to advise on and propose improvements to client infrastructure/systems.
- Travel to and from client sites across the UK (some overnight stays possible), leading the technical, installation, implementation and delivery of projects.
What we are looking for:
- A relevant IT Qualification.
- Ideally experience of working within a MSP environment.
- Previous infrastructure Engineer experience
- Working knowledge and experience of Window Server, Windows Desktop, Microsoft Exchange, Remote Desktop service and Active Directory.
- A strong understanding of IT Networking principles.
- Previous experience in managing various firewall technologies.
- Experience in Cloud technologies.
- Microsoft 365 knowledge and experience.
