Job Description
- Lead the tax department in all tax-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations.
- Manage tax planning strategies to optimise tax efficiency.
- Supervise the preparation of tax returns and reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with tax authorities and external auditors.
- Train and mentor junior staff in the department.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate its implications to the team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Tax Manager should have:
- A strong educational background in Tax, bring the combined blend of experience and qualification (ATT, CTA, ACCA, ACA)
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in a tax management role
- Exceptional leadership abilities and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
What's on Offer
- A competitive salary range of £70,000 - £80,000 per annum.
