A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an innovative and nutritionally focused food brand who are internationally recognised for their exceptional products. As part of their future ambitions, they have created a new role in their Innovation Team where you help identify and shape the future innovation pipeline for the brand.
The role is hybrid with minimum of 2 days in the office.
The Role
Be ready to make your mark in this broad role where you’ll be using all your resources to uncover the latest trends and insights to help identify future product opportunities. Working closely with the Insight, Product, Technical and Packaging teams you will seek out inspirational ideas that can really elevate the brand and make inroads into new categories.
You will help deliver a funnel of ideas for a 3-year innovation pipeline that aligns with the ambitions of the brand, business strategy and vision. You’ll explore new ideas / concepts, evaluate, prioritise and select the best products to move into the feasibility stage where you work collaboratively will all departments and manufacturing partners.
You will assess consumer desirability as well as technical, commercial and production viability to help create / support your concept proposition. As this is a new role and team, you will also be involved with designing, implementing and establishing a robust framework for the exploration and ideation of new products.
The Person
An exceptionally talented R&D / NPD professional with experience of working for a food brand in a front-end innovation role. Someone who is curious, creative, can think big and be bold. You will have innovation strategy development experience having commissioned and used insight to develop compelling products and delivering a long-term innovation pipeline. You’ll know how to work collaboratively and be able to develop an innovation culture and mindset, inspiring those around you to think differently.
