Management Accountant

We pleased to announce that due to internal promotion, we are now looking for a Management Accountant to join our amazing Finance team, within our central services function. This full-time position plays a crucial role in providing financial reports, analysis and insight, both within Oxford Innovation Space and to our clients.  Oxford Innovation Space operates a network of innovation centres that provide flexible workspace including offices and workshop facilities and business support services to companies throughout the UK.  Our clients are start-ups, high growth SMEs, investors and also public sector organisations that contract with us to deliver innovation centres and programmes to business. 

The successful candidate will report to the Finance Manager. The Management Accountant will work alongside the Assistant Accountant and two Accounts Assistants. The Management Accountant should expect to work directly and closely with the centre management teams, our clients and members of the senior management team.

Main Objectives of the role:

• To produce timely, accurate financial and management information for Oxford Innovation Space and our clients.
• To prepare, develop and analyse key financial information to ensure that the organisation’s management makes well-informed decisions to ensure future stability, growth and profitability whilst establishing and maintaining financial policies and management information systems.
• To assist in the management of compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, identifying risks and providing solutions and recommendations in mitigating against those risks.

Essential experience:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA studier, AAT / CAT Qualified or QBE.
• Experience of similar roles.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Excellent communication and management skills.
• Strong analytical skills with a natural enjoyment of data interrogation and interpretation.
