JOB TITLE:            Insolvency Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED:   1 to 3 years’ PQE
LOCATION:          Greater Manchester
THE ROLE:
• Advise clients on restructuring strategies and insolvency proceedings, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
• Draft and review legal documentation related to bankruptcy filings, debt restructuring agreements, and creditor negotiations.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitration, and mediation, advocating for their best interests at all times.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and provide actionable insights to clients.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, including financial advisors and regulatory bodies.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applicants should have at least a years’ experience handling contentious insolvency work and acting for insolvency office-holders on antecedent transactions and breach of duty claims under the Insolvency Act 1986 and Companies Act 2006. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues. You must be able to demonstrate a strong commercial approach to your work and have a proven track record advising businesses in distress.
