About the role
The GSC is responsible for the licensing and supervision of land-based gambling operators (the casino, betting offices, controlled machines and society lotteries), as well as the online gambling sector. This is an exciting time to join our welcoming and supportive team, as we're experiencing significant growth and have recently expanded to include regulation and supervision of a new medicinal cannabis sector.
The team oversees the day to day supervision of all types of gambling operators and each Inspector in the team will be assigned a portfolio of operators that they will become the main point of contact for. Inspectors are involved in a broad range of supervisory activities including the handling of queries and complaints, reviewing financial data and conducing both on-site and remote inspections.
