Industrial Installation Electrician
12 - 18 Month Contract

We are currently recruiting an experienced Industrial Electrician to work on a large relocation project for a defence customer. The role will be Manchester based with travel to Portsmouth and to Scotland.
Responsibilities:
- Assess electrical requirements of multiple electrical assets in areas of installation
- Review design layouts and determine power requirements and installation routing
- Produce cable schedules and cable routing layouts for new site
- Produce calculations for cable sizing
- Produce Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Specify all components
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers and installation teams
- Support electrical designs using CAD
- Achieve technical and commercial objectives
Experience/qualifications:
- Must be able to pass SC clearance - UK national
- BS 7671 (18th Edition) for electrical installations
- Knowledge of LV 3 Phase Systems
- Min 5 years' experience working on electrical systems and/or design
- Proven experience of electrical installations in an industrial environment
- Full UK drivers licence
- Electrical CAD experience - advantageous
