Installation Manager / Support Manager - Facades

A great opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Manager to join an industry leading façade specialist. You will serve as the cornerstone of their project execution strategy, providing expert technical guidance and hands-on support to facilitate the seamless integration of their facade systems into projects.

• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of facade systems supplied by the company.
• Provide technical support and guidance on site for facade-related products supplied.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to coordinate and optimise installation processes.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues on site, offering timely and effective solutions.
• Develop and implement training programs for site teams to enhance their technical skills and product knowledge.
• Support customers with toolbox talks and pre-start site meetings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements, new materials, and technological innovations.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage customer relationships through regular updates and follow-up on concerns.
• Liaise with our suppliers to upskill and increase product and system knowledge to further help site teams.
• Engage with and support the NPD process using extensive on-site experience.

• Background in the facades market with extensive experience on-site and managing installation of façade / curtain walling systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction and architects' drawings and specifications
• Good verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and work colleagues.
• Build relationships with suppliers.
• Collaborate closely with the design team to address flaws, suggest improvements, and offer potential solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and Autocad preferable.
• Strong organisational skills and effective time management to meet established deadlines.
• Team player with a drive for success.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to extract crucial information.

• Starting salary £45,000 - £50,000
