The role of the Technical Training Technician - Fire Protection Products will involve:
- Training & Installation Technician position dealing with a high quality range of passive Fire Protection / fire resistant products
- Responsible for delivery installation training on-site and off-site
- Installing mock build-ups for product testing and also at exhibitions
- Surveying passive Fire Protection installations
- Offering sound technical advice to clients and installers
- Working closely with Technical, Sales and Marketing Teams to offer product support
- National travel and overnight stays will be required
The ideal applicant will be a Training & Installation Technician - Fire Protection Products with:
- Must have installation experience with passive Fire Protection and flexible fire wall systems
- Strong technical understanding of active and passive Fire Protection systems for example: drylining, boarding, cavity barriers, thermal protection, plasterboards, insulation, partition systems, panel wall systems, fire resistant panels, insulation, blockwork walls, durasteel and acoustics
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Confident individual comfortable with presenting to groups
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Full UK driving license
