Lancaster and Morecambe College are seeking a Fabrication and Welding instructor and maintenance technician to join our Construction and Engineering department, working alongside tutors in our state-of-the-art Construction Centre. Your responsibilities will include the instruction of practical sessions to small groups of leaners, focusing on practical skills and development, as well as ensuring a healthy and safe environment.

You should have industrial experience in Welding or a related discipline, and hold Level 2/3 qualifications in Fabrication or Welding. We will support you over time to achieve an in-house teaching qualification. This role provides an ideal opportunity for someone considering a gradual transition from the trade into teaching, passing on skills to a new generation.
